Crossing the Finish Line:
Critical Retention Challenges
This conference theme offers an opportunity for faculty members and student development personnel to submit a relatively wide range of proposals. Proposal topics could include:
- Academic Skills Advancement
- Academic Engagement
- First Year Initiatives
- Retention Challenges
This is not an exhaustive list. We encourage proposals from a wide range of approaches.
Proposals must be submitted electronically no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2009.
Please note that in order to fill out and submit your proposal, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have it, you can download it for free at Adobe.com
All proposals will be screened by a faculty peer review committee. Proposals selected by the committee will be recommended to the academic deans of the sponsoring institutions for inclusion on the program. All individuals submitting a proposal will be informed of the decision.
The conference program will be published on the teaching conference website in January.
